Description
The internal burnishing tool type ERGI enables the machining of cylindrical bores up to Ø157 mm. This tool is available in versions ERGI-1 for bores starting from 35 mm and ERGI-2 for bores starting from 52 mm.
Tool structure
Our internal burnishing tool type ERGI consists of a tool body, a removable roller holder, and a machine-specific adapter. The dial gauge mounted on the side of the tool allows you to read the tool spring travel. Using the included tables, you can continuously adjust the rolling force and adapt it to your workpiece.

ERGI-1 workpiece internal diameter > Ø35 mm

ERGI-2 workpiece internal diameter > Ø52 mm
Machining
With our internal burnishing tool type WIW, all metallic materials with a tensile strength of up to 1400 N/mm² and a maximum hardness of 45 HRC can be machined. Either the workpiece or the tool can rotate during the process. The tools can be used on conventional CNC machines as well as on machining centers, lathes, and milling machines.
