Description

The type WPFK flat surface sphere tool consists of a tool body and, depending on the application, a certain number of ball inserts. The tool has no mechanism for adjustment, as the balls are always kept under pressure by a spring in front of them. This makes operating the tool easy. The wearing parts are the individual inserts, which are easy to replace. We offer cylindrical tool shanks, Morse tapers or other special designs on request as an interface to the machine.

Tool structure

Machining

Machining metallic materials with a tensile strength of up to 1,400 N/mm² and a maximum hardness of 45 HRC is no problem for our flat surface sphere tool. The tool rotates and machining is carried out on machining centers and milling machines.
